Das Weingut ALPHA OMEGA WINERY befindet sich im kalifornischen Weinanbaugebiet Rutherford Bench - Napa Valley, in der Nähe der bekannten Opus One Weinfarm von Robert Mondavi, etwa 20 Minuten (15 Miles) nördlich des Wein-Städtchens Napa und etwas mehr als eine Autostunde (62 Miles) nördlich von San Francisco.
Alle Weine von Alpha Omega können täglich von 10.00 - 18.00 Uhr im Tasting-Room auf dem Weingut degustiert und eingekauft werden. Zur Geschichte des kalifornischen Weinguts Alpha Omega Winery:
Die Weinkarriere des gelernten Rechtsanwalts & Alpha Omega-Besitzer ROBIN BAGGETT (Bild ganz oben rechts) begann 1988 als Weintraubenbauer in San Luis Obispo, Kalifornien. 1997 gründete er - zwischenzeitlich auch als Rinderfarmer tätig - das Weingut TOLOSA WINERY und die Weinkellerei COURTSIDE CELLARS. 2006 zog der Baseball-Fanatiker Robin Baggett mit seiner Frau Michelle ins kalifornische Napa Valley und gründete - zusammen mit Unternehmer & Spross einer angesehenen, lokalen Trauben-Produzenten-Familie ERIC SKLAR (Bild ganz oben links, heute nicht mehr bei Alpha Omega involviert) - das Weingut ALPHA OMEGA Winery.
Der heutige General-Manager & Kellermeister JEAN HÖFLIGER (in den USA Hoefliger geschrieben, 2. Bild von oben), geboren und aufgewachsen in der Schweiz, war zuerst auf Wanderjahre bei Château Lynch-Bages, Château Carbonnieux und beim südafrikanischen Weingut MEERLUST, bevor er 5 Jahre als Winemaker beim kalifornischen Weingut Newton Vineyard tätig war. Schliesslich 2006 stiess Jean Hoefliger als Winemaker zu Robin Baggett und Alpha Omega Winery. Schon seit Jahren hilft der renommierte französische Kellermeister MICHEL ROLLAND (3. Bild von oben) als Freund & Berater bei Alpha Omega.

Robin Baggett and Eric Sklar shared a vision to build a new winery in Napa Valley that would evoke the hospitality of this farming community, while creating some of the finest wines in the world. Robin and Eric discovered their passion for wine long before their paths crossed.
Twenty-five years ago, Robin began as an amateur winemaker developing over 800 vineyard acres in Edna Valley in San Luis Obispo before owning Tolosa Winery and the custom crush facility, Courtside Cellars.
Eric Sklar is an entrepreneur whose family has a rich history in Napa Valley as grape growers providing Cabernet, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc to premier wineries for more than 30 years.
